PLC & HMI

A Human Machine Interface (HMI) and a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) are both used to monitor and control machinery and processes in industrial settings:

HMI
A user interface that allows operators to interact with and monitor machinery. HMIs can be simple buttons or complex touchscreens and can provide real-time feedback, set alarms, and modify the system.

PLC
An industrial computer control system that analyzes data from input devices and executes control functions based on that data. PLCs are often used in complex manufacturing and industrial applications because they work well with other systems.
